Default Laptop FB problem

Hi everybody. Well, this is a new one.

For whatever reason, I can't post on FB via my laptop. I am signed in, I can add comments to a post. But I cannot post my own post. And also, on the right side of my screen (where all the notification numbers are), it says 10. Even if I click on the notifications and view them, it doesn't change. If someone adds a comment, I'll get notified and the number will go from 10 to 11 or 12. But when I view them, it still says 10.

Now here is where it gets interesting. I can post on FB via my tablet. no problems there. So I know it has to do with something on my laptop only I have no idea WHAT??

And since I don't get any email notifications from this site, I have to remember to come here and see if anyone replies.

lol

Thanks much if anyone can figure this one out.

Mel

Guess what? I figured it out. It's Google Chrome that is doing this. I tried going on FB via Internet Explorer and had no trouble posting.

Now I need to know WHY this happened with Chrome.

Anybody???

lol

Chrome has issues with our "moods" icons too..

I don't use Chrome so I have no idea what the problem could be with it.

I use Firefox or Comodo Ice Dragon (like FF) or Comodo Dragon (like Chrome) as my main browsers and only Microsoft IE very rarely.
