Default I am not getting any email notifications from this forum

I just only now found out that I had two private messages. I don't know if I did something to re-set something that opted me out of receiving notifications when someone replies to a post or sends me a private message.

Can someone please tell me what I need to do to set this up again?

Much thanks,

Melody

P.S. I just looked down at the bottom and the option indicates I have chosen "Instant Email Notification".
So what's happening?
