Default Chat Room doesn't work for me

Hello, I can go into a chat room and type one line, hit send and it goes in the room no problem. Then after that when I type nothing shows up and nothing can be sent. How do I fix this ? I have contacted an administrator already and my account is fine on that end. I'm not puter savvy so please explain how to do it if you have something I can do about it. I'm only a member of NeuroTalk, not Psych Central. Thank you very much in advance for any help you can give me.

Are you getting into the main room only , have you found the icon to go to other rooms where members may be?
There is a little doorway icon up near the top area that you click to change rooms.

Often most members in the chat rooms are from Psych Central and not NT.
NT members usually would set up a time/ w/ time zone info to chat with others from NT.

Are you possibly still using Internet Explorer? If so, it seems there may be a problem with that browser and the Chat software.
People who switched to Chrome or FireFox found it works better
Internet Explorer really is pretty useless for many things imho...I have not used it for years now and on the few occasions that I have been on a device that uses it...I have remembered why I quit using it

Than You. Yes, I can switch to any room and type one line and enter it into the chat room. After that I can't type anything or enter anything else in the chat room.

I do have Internet Explorer though so I'm going to switch to Fire Fox and see if it helps.
