Default Facebook algorithm

Does anyone besides me hate the new FB algorithm? I get garbage, I 'like' one meme and I get a bunch of stuff from that site on my news feed and on my pages. Then it repeats. Plus a bunch of paid 'suggested' junk.

Any of you techies know how to stop it?

I notice it was looking a little bit different lately but I use Firefox add ons like Ghostery & F.B. Purity - Cleans Up Facebook.

I double check all my FB settings couple times a year too.

Me too, Judi!! FB keeps tweaking and I simply want to see what friends and family post, plus a few posts from sites I enjoy. I seem to get more ads and crap than anything else...

My FB account is not very active but Adblock Plus (running under Chrome) does what its name implies on FB and everywhere else for that matter.

I use Adblock Plus too (for Chrome) and it makes a world of difference on EVERYWHERE I travel to on the web.
