Cool Smirk Firefox Browser for Android

I am in the process of changing phones and my new one only has Chrome installed. Being brave, I downloaded Firefox Browser - that is what I am on, Tablets are still too heavy for my neck and arm.

Have I done right?

Dave.

Cool Smirk

Thanks Jo*mar,

It is the first time I have ever downloaded a Browser. I like the look of the layout, but the Zoom function is not as stable as that on my current, cheap phone. I do not know what Browser this is, just Generic - came on the phone un-named.

I was surprised that all my old phone's Apps downloaded to my new phone automatically, not that I have many. But this time I was reasonably confident setting it up. I am becoming more proficient with the basics of modern computing despite my memory and lesions.

Dave.

Hi Dave

Good job mastering the download.

I've been using Firefox for over a year now on my laptop - no problems. I originally had Chrome (which came with the computer) but it seemed to have never-ending conflicts with other software when I got onto broadband, so one day when it finally 'spat the dummy' I just uninstalled it.

Firefox also has some pretty easy to use settings for customising your preferences eg blocking cookies etc. (Click on 'Options' on bottom of their start page) They also have some good tips and add-ons.

Happy browsing
