Where is that memory slot? This is a new computer, a HP Pavilion. Only 2 months old. Looks like this:

If this is a new modern desktop, look around the monitor edges (that is where
the Apple slots are, too.)

Look up your model on Google to find your manual, for more
details. If there is a tower, with your on and off button, and the CD/DVD drives, the slots would be around there, perhaps behind a plastic window. (ours has a window below the CD drive that you push open to reveal the USB ports and card slot.) =Dell

this model is similar to your photo...

Says it has a 3 in 1 card reader included. Most towers today have USB and card readers in front on the tower.
Who knows what HP has....

Yes, I think I found it. Now what? Take the card out of the camera and insert it into that slot?

Yes. Then go to "this PC" if you have win10, or My computer on older browsers, and view the drives. When you put it in, push it all the way. To remove it tap it with a little push in gently and it will back out by itself so you can grab it. Don't force anything. Put it in with the Logo label up.

It will show up there. Click on it and view the photos, and choose one to download...it will ask where. My husband tends to put them on the desktop, then he copies it to where he wants it etc.....I put them in "my pictures". Make a folder first depending on how you arrange your photos.
If they are of your iguana, then name it something like:
My Iguana 2015. When 2016 comes make a new folder if you want. Or you can just put them all in "My Iguana" ... that is just one example.

I do NOT have Windows 10. That's how the government spies on all of us. They send info on everyone with Windows 10 every 10 seconds.

What do you have? XP?

If you do, just stick it in the computer and your computer will recognize what you've done and will ask you what you want to do.

e.g. copy pictures to my computer using Microsoft scanner and camera wizard.

Then it's easy from there. Just stick it in and see what pops up. :)
