Adobe issued an emergency update on Thursday to its widely used Flash software for Internet browsers after researchers discovered a security flaw that was being exploited to deliver ransomware to Windows PCs.
The software maker urged the more than 1 billion users of Flash on Windows, Mac, Chrome and Linux computers to update the product as quickly as possible after security researchers said the bug was being exploited in "drive-by" attacks that infect computers with ransomware when tainted websites are visited. http://www.nbcnews.com/tech/tech-new...ttacks-n552826 more- http://www.google.com/search?client=...20Emergency%20 My Linux OS had flash update for me as soon as I logged on to my computer this morning..

Thanks, Jo*mar! I went to http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ and it says "You have version 21,0,0,213 installed" . One thing I read somewhere said "Adobe notes that the vulnerability has been actively exploited on devices running Windows 10 and earlier with Flash Player version 20.0.0.306 and earlier." Sounds like I'm updated, right?
On the Adobe website above, there's no mention of a pending update.

I have found that Chrome (running under Windows 10) automatically updates Flash Player (currently v21.0.0.216).
