Hi there.

I ran into my 89 year old friend who was out walking with his wife. He had known about my laptop. He said "how's your laptop doing"? I told him what happened and that once I got a new power cord everything was fine.

He said "I graduated with honors in electronics". Then he went on to explain the voltage that was going through the other power cords, well they were weaker than the voltage going through my NEW Power cord.

He then went on to explain how the electric company reduces power in the summer. We don't notice the change but our devices (a/c, refrig, etc) well THEY notice, They have to work harder.

He went on but it was all over my head. This guy knew what he was talking about.

So now it works, I get to see my videos, all is well.

Now all we do is wait for Alan to have his custom molded shoes come in on Tuesday. Then I can stop waiting on him hand and foot.

At least I get to watch my youtube movies.

Hey, whatever works. lol

Melody
P.S. Thanks much
