Well, I certainly know what I won't be doing.

I know. I feel for you all. Haven't been able to say anything since the fires and now this week. No words. Also, the fires and disasters tend to trigger me a lot more as I get older and they are getting worse.

Mostly today I'm just sitting here shaking my head in disbelief having lived so long and never seen anything like it. I find it all very frightening frankly.

btw Our whole suburb here has fibre to the home ( or premises) and we're having outages all the time. Had to go buy a wifi portable to use when the power is out or the internet is out. Thieves are targeting the copper wire so they're digging up the pits and causing mayhem. Who'd have ever thought copper was going to be such a commodity.

A lot of neighbours had put in the SL on their houses and love it. I refuse to succumb. Next door asked me why I wasn't doing it to get great internet speed and service and I for some reason had the words "darkening the sky" come out of my mouth. (Lyrics from an old song Good News Week only they said blackening not darkening) He looked at me and I am not sure he got the metaphor but anyway. Rambling now. I've been missing communications with other humans. (hug)
