I use http://www.webshots.com for my wallpaper and my screensaver. Been using it for 6-7 years now.

They've got gorgeous pictures; you can even add your own.

Lightbulb I make my own...
I make my own Wallpaper from our own photos.

I don't trust downloads at all! From anywhere! I am paranoid about that.

You can even have your own screen saver...Windows has an option in
tools, to rotate as a slide show your own photos that are in My Pictures.

I use webshots too - also use it to find photos for my painting inspirations - I download them and they cycle thru as my wallpapers.

Webshots does both.

Are you looking for a certain kind - like a seasonal one, animated?
But you're right most of those kinds have adware or something with them.
