No, it's not your screen.

I have a logitech webcam. Bought it years ago.

Now I have no idea if a different webcam would make a better picture. better pixels???? whatever.

All I know is I'M ON GOOGLE!!!!!

Alan is hysterical about this.

Hi All!!

I want to learn how to upload to Youtube. I have saved this video in every format known to man. Youtube says it accepts various formats, including avi files. This is what my video was initially saved in. I tried to upload it. Didn't work. I tried saving in the Windows Media Player thing, as "all files", This was the only option it gave me. Tried to upload this. Didn't work either.

So if anyone knows what I can do with a video that is presently in my Logitech folder and is presently saved as an avi file, I would greatly appreciate it.

Isn't it cool to learn this techno stuff at 60?? I think so!!!

Mel

P.S. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.

Jo:

Thanks for that information. I went to that site and bookmarked it. I'm going to learn it today. Don't know if I can apply what I will learn but at least I'll try. I don't know why the google videos don't come clear. I am not familiar with changing resolution, etc. I just uploaded a video (you'll laugh), that I did over the summer, when I put on a plain black top and Alan took one look at me and said 'you are not leaving the house dressed like that". So I made a video for his sister (who think's he's a fuddy duddy, and thankfully, she thinks I'm a hoot).

I'll let you know how the youtube tutorial goes.

But for now, Here's Melody, in her top that Alan won't let her out of the house with.

UPDATE. UPDATE

I downloaded the free Youtube installer. I followed directions to the tee.

When it gives you the option to BROWSE, (I know how to do this), I simply went to the my logitech picture folder, found my video, and when I went to upload it, I was given the following message:

ACCESS VIOLATION AT ADRESS XXXXXX, MODULE XXXXXX READ OF ADDRESS 000000. (I'm leaving out all numbers because I have no idea what these numbers mean and it could mean personal information on my computer, so I'm just being safe and putting XXXXXX where numbers actually are.

But what this is telling me is that the youtube uploader is not letting me access my own video on my own computer... am I correct??

Now why can I do this on google, but not on Youtube?? jeezz
