Hi,
I have windows ME and I had my camera set up with it so I could put my pictures onto my computer. Well, I had problems with my computer so I did a total recovery and it took it back to like when it was new. Now I can't set my camera up and I can't for the life of me remember how it was done. A friend did it for me the first time and she moved away so I have to figure this out by myself and I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to computers. ![]() Thanks so much for any help! Do you have a CD that came with the camera?
It probably has the drivers that the system needs. If not you can look up your camera on the website for what ever brand it is. I got a Olympus at a pawn shop and looked up the drivers and download support for it. In your search bar -like Google- or which ever one you use just type the brand name - you can add camera drivers to narrow it down faster. then just find the one that matches your camera and download it. then double click to install it. My reg keyboard got coffee spilled on it so I'm using a spare til it gets dry after rinsing it off, and it isn't as nice as my reg one... If you need more help with that part of it let me know and I can walk you thru it

Thanks Jo!
You are an Angel! I have been trying to get this thing figured out and you helped me so much! I went to google and put in DC3400 and a couple of other things and it helped me understand what I needed to do and it worked! The only thing is that they download so slow. It didn't do that before but at least I've figured out how to get back to where I was before the recovery. I'll keep working with it and I bet I can figure this out too! Again, thank you so much for your help! Gabby |
