Default Dragon NaturallySpeaking

Hi everyone,
has anyone used the latest version of Dragon NaturallySpeaking Professional Edition? I'm wondering if I should upgrade. I have severe neck, arm and hand paint which prevents me from typing and mousing, and the current version has many glitches. It has the most trouble on the Internet.

Thanks!
Moselle

what version do you have now?
Is your mic a good quality one?
worn out maybe?
-same with the sound card if old or worn out will cause troubles with recognition.

I had to try another sound card before my Via Voice would work after I got a new mother board.
the built in sound card will not work with my mic -but with my old
Sound blaster card added in - it all works fine.

so my speakers are plugged into the built in sound card and my mic is in the soundblaster card - I just have to disable one to use the other

If you need more info on dragon - many on the Thoracic outlet forum use it.
the link to it-

I've only used up to DNS Pro Version 8, but there are many users on my forums (in sig) that do use DNS Pro 9 and 9.5 - you might check with them. I have version 9, but it requires a 1Ghz or faster computer to install it and I'm about 60Mhz shy so it refuses.

If I recall correctly version 9 is more accurate and 9.5 fixes some bugs and is Vista compatible.
