Thumbs up computer speakers....

We finally decided that the tiny tinny monitor speakers had to go!
(sounds like mice singing thru them).. and since I am working in this room more
now...we explored computer speakers.

This week Best Buy is having $40 off Klipsch 2.1 media system. So since my
son has these already, I decided to splurge on them.

Well.... mega mondo fabulous! They are on sale thru tomorrow night.
We just hooked them up today... I have to say they are way worth the
$119 !

It has been a while since we bought some new sound equipment, and I guess things now are just fabulous like these?

The woofer shakes the whole floor!
And they have a mini MP3 plug too!

Wink L O L

This room is on the main floor. Grandfather added this room in the mid 40's, and it has a crawl space under it. It has been a 'library' and then a baby nursery, then a toy room, and now it is our computer room. Over the years we have had a skunk and an opposum living under here. The skunk was truly an emergency. But the possum didn't bother me but we did get rid of him too (can't have them dying under there and stinking up the house!) We have just tons of critters. In fact Mr. and Mrs. Quack Quack arrived yesterday! It was 59 degrees today... looks like spring is a comin'.

Each time we find their crawl holes and plug them up, a new one opens.

So we hope whatever critters are under there (I know at least chipmunks live there and also under the porch (which is right outside the window)...may
not like that woofer!

My husband bought me the new Celine Dion CD at Amazon and it came today ....lots of base on that! This is very different style for her--that's for sure.

And Josh is just dreamy on this new system!

Wink well...

a couple of funny things....

1) my typing is going out the window (not that it was so great to begin with)...
so I guess folks here are going to see some strange spelling and preposition use!

2) our middle cat Tippy has attacked the woofer twice last night. She rushes up and hits it with her paw. Our oldest cat sits in the doorway and calls for me
to come out of here (she doesn't like it either).
I guess it sounds to them like something is in there? LOL
