Default Those quote boxes!

Can someone tell me how I lift quotes from a previous message to use in a response message, so that they display in those nifty little boxes. All I have been doing for the past six months is cutting and pasting required quotes, but suspect the 'other' method is more efficient.

Gosh I'm hopeless

Many thanks in anticipation!

I'm experimenting here. I think I may have worked it out but lets see. For the past six months I have been deleting the whole quote in the response box not realising that's how it was done - duh. Here goes!
