you can go to programs/accessories/system tools/disk clean up
to clean them out - but it looks like you can't view them that way. I also double clicked on my computer/dble click on main drive/dbl click on windows/ scroll to find Temp/then dble click that- and there they are. eessh I have a lot of junk there. i'll be cleaning mine up- thanks for having me check it. |

You can also press the [start button], select 'run' -- then type: c:\windows\temp -- and then press [OK].
There's usually a bunch of stuff in that folder. The ones that are 'safe' to delete are: anything that ends with: .tmp anything that start with: ~ If there are any folders there, they usually need to be there for the programs that you run. Barb |

The fastest way to clean them out is to similar to what moose53 told you.
Navigate to the C:\Windows\Temp folder. Open the Temp folder and go to Edit > Select All then Edit > Delete to delete the entire contents of the Temp folder. Go to Start > Run and type %temp% in the Run box. The Temp folder will open. Click Edit > Select All then Edit > Delete to delete the entire contents of the Temp folder. Finally go to Control Panel > Internet Options. On the General tab under "Temporary Internet Files" Click "Delete Files". Put a check by "Delete Offline Content" and click OK. Click on the Programs tab then click the "Reset Web Settings" button. Click Apply then OK. Reboot Empty the Recycle Bin. Some files do not want to be deleted. I use two things to get rid of them. One is called CROA - Clear Read-Only Attributes and the other is Move-On Boot. Scroll to the bottom and you will see the FREEWARE or just click here. Liz
