Default Kicks me off of "my space"

I found a friend that I haven't talked to in 33 years and I have been trying to see her childrens my space and after I go in for just a couple of minutes this error thing comes up and it takes me back to my wall paper. I've tried several times to go into my space and look at some things and it keeps doing this. I have windows me. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? It doesn't happen with anything else.
Thanks for any help.

I think it must be something in your browser settings or your cache is getting filled up and causes the close of the browser.

What browser are you using? IE 6 or 7 ? Firefox?
do you know how to clear your cache? and maybe clear your cookies too?

Oh, what is the error message that you get?

myspace had lots of ads that cookie you. your firewall or browser may be blocking these and the site will knock you off.

i know myspace uses java scripts and that needs to be allowed for it to load properly.

I'm not smart about computers. I didn't even know what a cache is so I looked it up. I do delete my cookies every so often. I us IE as my browser. I'm going to read what you wrote and see if I can figure this thing out. Thanks so much for the help!

That's too bad!

I didn't need to check a computer book to figure out why you're getting kicked off...it's cause you really really really want to be there.

Murphy's Law. If it didn't matter, you coulda stayed. Good luck!

One thing you need to know about myspace.... your myspace page can easily be highjacked. If it ever takes you back to your login screen after you have already logged in..dont log in!!

That is fake login screen just there to steal your account. Sometimes when you hit the "home" link is when this happens, so be wary about using the "home" selection. It is better to use the back button

My niece got her account hijacked - but I didn't know if it was because of her my space account or she might have got a email virus -she always forwards those "don't break the chain" emails

I really don't like those kind -and so many just leave all the email addresses showing for everyone to see!!!!
all they have to do is delete the ones that show...before sending it.

My daughter just had her's highjacked. We think we might know who did this but I was wondering since I read this...is it really that easy to do....like anyone off the street could possibly do it and what could be their reasons except to make her start all over?
