VCR's are very old technology (as the Beta Player or even the LaserDisc Player), but they still have their perks.

I have many old vhs tapes which have old TCM films of them of Bogart and Cagney which have yet to be released on DVD. One film, in particular, "The Strawberry Blonde" (starring James Cagney, Olivia De Havilland, Rita Hayworth, and Jack Carson), I cannot find anywhere. My VCR broke though, and now I can neither watch it on dvd nor vhs.

I'm looking for a VCR too, but it seems like nobody has them anymore. I'm going to be looking at garage sales. I'm sure I'll be able to find one there for a few dollars. It's also easier to judge the people you're purchasing it from when you meet them in person (as to tell whether they're the type who took care of what they're now selling).

I hope you find something.

I'm shutting my mouth. I don't want to bring any bad luck on myself.
