Alan got some cd about stocks, and he tried to view it (we have two cd rom drives), one is a dvd lightscribe thing, and the other is a cd rom drive.
He tried both. It opens up in Windows media player. We hear what is being said on the cd (or dvd, or whatever this thing is). but no picture. It opens up in Windows Media, and there is a blue light on the screen (you can't see the guy speaking). Anybody ever have this happen to them. On the right side of the cd it says: "compact disc/digital audio". Maybe there is not supposed to be a picture on the screen. Could this be just an audio cd?? How does one find out about this? Thanks much ----------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE. Alan called the phone number on the disc. guess what? There's no video. It's an audio CD. I just looked at him. I had asked him that question initially. He told me 'Oh no, there are charts and everything". All the time it was only an audio cd. Well, I'll know better next time. I should have realized this when I saw the Blue stuff on the screen.
