Bro that is funny!! You are a riot!!! |
Coffee? Tea? Slapping Moi on the forehead! Dude...you should of had the V-8!
Hey...I gave birth to a geek! They grow up and sit around with their friends and talk about string. Overhearing this sting talk, I think they need some, so I take them in a ball of string. Geez, I then am informed all about some string theory. I nod and smile. :Grin-Nod::BeamUp: |
didn't Edison use those film clips to prove a horses feet leave the ground, time space conundrums are mind boggling, the back to the future movies did a great job with all the time travel stuff
I mean in order for some one to have travel back in time to tell H.G. Wells all about our future, theoretically the future had to of happened which means the past was long gone. Although had someone from the future gone back it would of change the futures, past history..lol there are so many questions you can toss out there.... I love time travel movies |

that means that even 512 or even 1024 frames/ second might be possible (maybe not in our life time) but this is where I was thinking: in real life, between zero and 1 second, for us people, how many frames are between those zero and 1 second? and if we dissect each frame, would each of those frames become it's own "person"? dude, that is awesome to hear about your new puter...sounds like you need to build new modem to keep up with the speed of your puter...LMAO... |

LOL Taffers, hey, get them in here!! Need more input!! Although, I am intrigued by the STRING CHEESE Theory also...how did they make all those little strings of cheese to stick together without melting into one nasty glob?? LOLOL now as for V-8, that would make things so much more complicated...we would now get into tomatoes, lettuce(are there lettuce in V-8? LOL), carrots and celery...now we would be in Veggie Tales Theory instead of String theory...:thud: Quote:
and you just brought up what I was going to ask next, what about time travel?? The reason why I was asking about the "NOW" was to see if anyone would then think Time Travel was possible... exactly my question about the future, if we can travel to the future, isn't it happening already? So are we in the past or are we in the future or are we now...LOL the reason for this thinking comes back to quarks... the basis of all matters... a quark is here and not here at the same time...meaning that now you see it but now you don't...but it isn't splitting, it is the SAME time...mind boggling... how can something be here and NOT here at the same time...SAME time... that is why the word "Buddha" in Chinese intrigues me... it is made up of the word, MAN and NOT it means, "here" and "NOT here" or "real" and "NOT real" at the same time... but that goes back to my original question: I/O kinda the same concept... I have found most legitimate religions' teachings are similar to I/O's (Now I am not an expert, and am not trying to explain religion, just an observation...) Alpha and Omega (inclusive with all inbetween) Daoist Ying and yang (same, inclusive between opposites or beginning and the end) and others which I am not too familiar of but am reading up on... gosh, so much to learn so little time! I love time traveling stuff also...I actually have thought of a way that might be possible...but that only works in my head...LOLOL Maybe one day I will be brave enough to share it... kewl dude, let's tawk about time travel! Do anyone think it's possible? LOL Or would someone like to throw me back to a time when I was not around...LMAO............ |

hey Trish, I is for electricity O is for DD16 who keeps on unplugging the electric clock... binary code 8 bits: 01101110 01100101 01110111 00100000 01110100 01101001 01110100 01110011 (trish, this is for your DD, LOLOL) ;) LOLOLOL |
Wow time travel!!!
You know string theory is kinda on the verge of proving that time travel could or could not be done. I was reading some stuff on singularities, gravity, and blackholes that mentioned things about uncovering time travel through these experiments. The article also mentioned the CERN lab as going to be on the cutting edge of proving or disproving these theories. Wouldnt time travel be great!! :D I would go back and leave myself notes at certain dates to tell myself to do, or not do certain things. Like I would put a note on the windshield of my truck on march 31st 2000 telling me not to go to the doctor, and if I do go dont let them do the angio that disabled me LOL. The only bad part is I would be tempted to leave notes with that weeks winning lotto numbers too  LOL. For those that are lost to all this geek talk you can go to the CERN website and learn in laymans terms about all this stuff we are talking about.:winky: http://public.web.cern.ch/Public/en/...nsions-en.html |
Sorry my little blue Moi friend...all those geekie geeks are off into the world of wonders.
Mine is in Hawaii and I don't know...the last time ...something about cloning something and I get a little lost on what his research is on...so it is nod and smile!:D |
I love time travel concepts they are so deep. Yeah Allen I saw that on the show about string theory, it was a strong argument in my eyes it made a lot more sense then any other explanation I have heard.
ok next geek idea am curious Moi do you watch shows on how the universe was formed etc.... the physicist Michio Kaku made some interesting comments on a show about the universe, about how most universes have two suns. also he commented on how the last planets are in the wrong place they belong down by us, which someone gave a so so idea how they got there. I wrote a question to Science Channel and him about, what if we did have two suns and thats what the Kipper belt is made out of a burned out sun, that might of imploded as a neutron star. and thus that would help explain the smaller planets so far from the sun, and would explain what the belt is made of. did you know there are also a few minor planets out that way? I never knew anything about Minor planets, I had never heard of them before this one show, Ceres, Pluto, Makemake, Eris, Mimas and Pallas. yes Pluto has been reclassified as a minor planet ...Aka Small Solar Systems bodies http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Small_solar_system_bodies no answer yet from him or SC |

Yeah, I did both read and saw information about the twin suns and I think in the movie 2010, they discussed that concept and claimed that Jupitar might have been the "other" sun that is thawing out (which makes no sense cause Jupitar is a planet...but then again, it's been a long time since I've seen the movie so don't quote me on that) and there was this big argument about the minor planets and how people were petitioning to keep Pluto as the original 9...LOL (OK, getting off track here) I like your idea about the Kiuper belt: It jolted some ideas: OK, you know Gamma Ray are the only true Rays (where Alpha and Beta are just particles) Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson discovered and identified the background radiation of the universe. The Sun is the main gravitational pull in our solar system yet according to that show (History of the universe) the whole universe is spiraling out as a whole and on its own, but let's just take the on its own stuff for now) The kiuper Belt contains some major Plutinos and is on the outer Edge. If it was the remnants of a nertron star or Quark Nova it could leave strong Gamma Ray Bursts and if we can find those traces, your theory might be proven!! That would be pretty cool, eh? And even if we think of it as gravitational pulls, that might work as well, our planets especially Earth which contains life, are being "held" within the two Suns thus keeping our gravity in tact. of course, this is just my personal opinion and probably wrong as heckit but it sure is good to find folks to talk about it!
