Default All in one printers...

I've seen several printers that include WIFI installed...why would you want that installed on a printer? I'm buying a new printer for my laptop...just curious as to why need WIFI.

Thanks

Default home network...

my husband is a networking guru - so we have a home network, with wireless set up so we (or our guests) can log in {and print} from anywhere in the house.

hello,
the wireless printers are handy if you have a home network. with multiple computers in multiple rooms.

this will end the need for a printer next to each and every computer.

some are easier to set up than others when it comes to putting it on the network.

it is more of a convenience without having o run a sepearte cat5 cable across the room or house. but be prpared for slower print times as it takes longer for the information to get to the wireless based on your networks setup.

other than that mine works just fine.

We are down to two PCs one desk and mine, a laptop. I bought a new one with cable since I wanted fast printing. I also didn't like the way the scanner worked on the other...I like this one better.

Thank you for the info...the only thing I'm not happy with about my new laptop is some areas there is no way in cyber land you will get a signal. lol
Like in the valley of Lake Tansi...lol

The dial up...impossible...the phone cable buried in the wall. lol
