Default Anyone know

why the memory is showing only 5.2? It is maxed out and only reads that high while all the others are 5.9. I have tried everything I know to do just short of turning down all the personal settings that we all enjoy lol.

Would love to see the 5.2 go away!

I'm not sure Allen.. when my XP slows down I usually clean it out and use Ccleaner or Gary Utilities to make sure any obsolete reg stuff is cleaned out.

Have you ever checked out Black viper's website, he has tricks and tweaks listed.

allen,

nice rig. good os and max ram.

the overall 5.2 rating is good. what the rting is doing. is seeing how well your ram process inforamtion. the more programs you have running during this test or in the tasktray will lower this number.

your already on a 64 bit os. and maxed out in ram.. check in your bios and see if your ram is enabled for the igher load. its hard for me to tell you not knowing your specs for your system or mobo. but a 5.2 is doing well.

roger.

Thanx bro!

Yeah the numbers at first didnt make sense to me. When you have everything maxed out you would think the rating number would be maxed out also.

I did what you said, and I would have to pump it up a bit to get it to raise that magic number. Not worth it to me LOL. After I posted this I went googling and realized this rating number was very nice indeed LOL.

I really enjoy tinkering around with computers, too bad I dont have more money to throw at it cause I would already be upgrading to blueray. Seems as fast as you can put them together better parts are available the next day.
