Hi, got a question. In the user CP, what is a signature picture? Can someone tell me how you put pictures and photo's below your avatar, just in the space
there is below? Thank you so much for the help I hope you give me.

Hi Doodle,

You can add a picture easy. This is what I do.

http://www.glitter-graphics.com/ Has tons.

Just copy and paste the URL code for forums. Be sure to click the Save button.

Or you can upload a picture from your computer.

For the avatar and siggy pictures there are size limits - those are posted on the page before you upload.

avatar-
[Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 85 by 85 pixels or 64.0 KB (whichever is smaller). ]

siggy pics-
[Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 500 by 200 pixels or 24.4 KB (whichever is smaller). ]

we also have good threads in our stickys about posting pictures, avatars and graphics and how to resize them. some have screen shots to help you through it step by step.

Default URL trouble

I am still having trouble with the copy and paste URL code for forums. Maybe if you go step by step. I feel a little stupid but I'm determined to learn this.
Thank you Curious and wegotzkids

on glitter graphics or photo bucket {or most graphics pages}
you select the picture by clicking it

then on the page that opens - down below the image it will say "copy this for forums" etc.

you can right click or double click to select & highlight all the words in the box
and then right click again and use copy

then you come back to your post or your siggy box and right click again to use the paste and that should put all the text into the box for you.

then all you do is preview it to see if it worked.

If there is a certain part you have trouble at let us know.

Open this link. It's a post Jo made that has links to screenshots I took on how to post the graphics from glitter graphics.

http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/thread37633.html

it's step by step.

To copy and paste, you have to first click on the codes. That will highlight it. Then right click. Then click on copy. On a Reply to Thread box, right click, then click paste. The code will show up.

You can check it by clicking Preview Post, but be sure to click Submit Reply.

You have to use the picture resizer. Do you still have the link? If not, I'll see if I can find it.
