Default Dish v DirectTV

We're moving soon and wonder if it's time to change from Dish to DirectTV?

We have the basic package with the DVR (TIvo) and really like that feature. But it seems so expensive!

Anyone have any thoughts, opinions?

Hi Twinks,

We have Dish but have more than one TV. If we only had one TV I think I'd switch.

They are the leading satellite company right now.

I would never go back to cable.

Direct TV has the most HD channels, the DVRs are pretty good and the sports packages for my husband are great.

I agree Shelley and I am not sure but do you still have to pay extra for the local channels with dish network?, and they are all expensive. I get the basic HD dvr pack and I get a few extra history and science channels, the movie channels are like all the others by the 15th of the month the movies are a repeat
