ummm, why is the computer screen so dark???

You can switch up the brightness on the monitor you know.

[I have a terrible problem with static at certain windy times of the year here. Getting into the car can be a serious electrical danger. lol I've learned to ground myself prior to opening the door.]

That didn't work Lara, I tried. What finally worked was turning it completely off and holding down the "on" switch for twenty seconds...that seemed to disipate the static. And the screen lightened up! :D

wow, that's amazing. You sure must have a lot of static built up there.

The room must be too dry with the heaters on all the time. I'd be trying what Curious suggested too and leave some bowls of water around.

No problem with that here. lol *dripping wet at 9.15am again already. It's like a sauna in here. :Melting 2:

It warmed up to 17 today...we were thrilled! BTW, thank you for the link to Hospice...I'm emailing them!
