This looks easier.

Thanks so much!

the CD coding are the same so CD's are universal...
(unless you get into FILE CD's then it can get a bit complicated but usually that won't matter)

DVD codings are different because it involves all these different MOVIE files...

just right off the top of my head, you've got .avi files, .vob files .dv files .MPEG files and in the MPEG files alone you have MPEG1 to MPEG10 to MPEG to the X

then, you have different Region Codes for DVD, US and Canada have region 1 and I think Australia DVD is region 2 and so on and so forth, so DVD's are not universal....

a person can make backup copies of whatever they own. If you own the DVD, Mrs. D, it is NOT illegal...it would be IF you sell it to me...LOL

I like that program Lara suggested and there are few other ones also. IF that one doesn't work for you, there are a couple of others...

:)

I may buy

the CD that Koala found.

I am researching that too.

You know how it goes, when you really really love something,
it moves you etc, and you have to have it!

I've found it mrsD! :D

This NZ store stocks quite a few of her CDs, and there's one called Hayley Westenra Live in Concert which has the song that you're after on it, and yes they ship overseas. :)

Here's the details about the Live in Concert CD :

She even has her own website. :winky:

This is tough...
That is why I came here.

I am going to talk to my son this weekend and see if it is at iTunes. If so he can get it for me.

I just need to know if that Bravo! Sony CD is still available. And if that selection is from the concert and NOT the Pure album.

This weekend I'll search some import CD places.

I checked Ebay twice and no go over there!

ok ladies and germs,

im sure you have all heard of peer to peer sharing. such as limewire.

here is the link for it on cnet

http://http://www.download.com/LimeW...-10051892.html

once you have it loaded it will place your music in the folder

c:/programfiles/limewire/sharedmusic

i reccomend you create a seperate folder in another drive or partition and name it what you want and in the options of the limewire for downloaded music make this your folder for downloaded music. also in options turn off uploading.

then you can search for your music that way.

security for limewire files is if the top file it finds and says it 54 to 100 bits dont download it. a song should be like this sample **3.61 MB (3,794,943 bytes) to be a song..***

have fun.

this is peer to peer sharing. so get on it and enjoy.

keep your antivirus programds and malware programs running when using any peer to peer programs.

imoho the internet is a public library. we pay our library fee each mont to use the intenet, so when we share a file we are basically sharing a book in a library.

roger.
