Hi Tamiloo,
I don't know why your IE is having a problem. I only use IE if a site requires it.

But I would recommend trying another browser... it's nice to have a second option and one like FireFox is generally quicker at loading pages and has better security built in.

you can learn about it & download it - free of course -
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

i have also used the Flock browser - free also-

But it only started after I downloaded a Yahoo Manager and lost my original Google. I made some changes to get Google back, but it looked different. After that, I began to have problems with my NT forum, such as inability to use smilies or go into Chat. I know your frustration and then some! billie
PS Wish I could help

Billie, It looks like you may have changed some permissions and maybe your toolbar as well.

Try this: go to the top of any internet page.

If you're using Internet Explorer, go to Tools, then Toolbars and tell us what's been ticked.

If you're using Firefox, click on view, then toolbars and let us know what's ticked.

Have you got your smilies back yet?

If not... did you check to see if you have them enabled here on NeuroTalk. You can check that by looking under any message when you're typing. I took a picture of mine showing that option outlined in red (at the bottom). It should be unchecked.

See how you go and get back to us.
