Confused Saving pics with firefox...

Hello,

I posted this question somewhere else but got no replies, so, could I ask you who use Firefox how do you save a pic ?? I mean, I cant simply right click over it so I can see "save image as" can I ?? Im in a mac, so, I have ended taking screen shots of pics I like because I dont know how to save them in my drive !!!!

It should work just as you mentioned.
"right click over it so I can see "save image as"

But I don't know if a Mac would need it done differently...

have you tried to do it -try it on my siggy pic

Sound s like it is a common problem - I did a little searching and found these suggestions. For Macs.

[Firefox -> Preferences -> Main Tab
Change the location where you save the files to another location. See if that works. If it doesn't change the other settings in regards to the downloading section.]

another suggestion is to make your browser window/or tab, a bit smaller, then just drag and drop the picture into a folder or onto the desktop.

and here is the "save Image" Mac addons for FF -

one of those might be a fix for you.

I cant simply right click like in another browsers

I tried dragging the pics to a folder but they were saved like .bin files that then, I cant open....

Finally, I downloaded the application, but I dont know how to use it...

So ! still trying to find out !

Wait... I just dragged my signature pic to my desk and it was saved... but I tried with your siggy Jo*mar and it saved it like .bin.... GGGGRRRRRR Weird

UPDATE:

Seems that the problem is .jpg pics... I can drag .gif ones, but, .jpg are saved like .bin and then, I cant open the file BUT it i manually change the extension to .jpg, then, I can finally open my pic !!!!
Wow, how weird is that !?
