Question moving text.

I am trying unsuccessfully to put some selected text into a folder on my desktop. I've got the folder waiting for the text but I can't seem to
get it there. I know how to highlight the subject and select copy but from there it falls apart. Can someone help me with this?
Thank you guys,
Dbug7

How about trying a long way around?

Try cutting (copying) the text, and pasting it into a message (like in Outlook Express), and then saving your message into a document in "my computer"?

I sometimes do it that way if I see a large text (like an article) that I want to save.

If you have NotePad or WordPad on your computer, you could also copy/paste into a new document and save it to the folder on your desktop.
