I have the Aspire One also. It's a bit slow to load sometimes, and it doesnt handle all the stuff that my larger computers do, but it's perfect for just email and internet...and the monitor is nice and bright.
I'm planning on going back to school, and I'm hoping this computer works for school, because I'm not looking forward to schlepping my Toshiba laptop around. (7 or 8 pounds) There's no way I'm dragging the brick that is my 2003 Compaq laptop. I love that thing, but it weighs at least 10 pounds or more. I bought a messenger bag for my Acer. the bag is nice and roomy and my Amazon Kindle (in it's own little bag) fits in with the Acer nicely. (and I can use my Acer for Kindle management if I'm in an area that's not Kindle wireless capable) It'll be nice to see how the Acer handles school, and if I ever go on a vacation, it'll be fun to be able to carry a laptop that'll fit in a hotel safe when I'm not in the hotel.
