Ebay has been fine on this end. Lil'Monkey actually listed some stuff this weekend. Now she has to teach me.

Very strange.. My husband thinks it was EBAY itself.

It is rare for me not to get sniped there, and I bid and got what I wanted very quickly. (economy aside--where I shop it is always snipe city)
The second item didn't show that I won it until an HOUR later.
Also the countdown clock didn't work. ( I like this feature when bidding gets furious).

So hubby and I thought it went so easily (after switching browsers) because others were having trouble too?
I'll go back today and try again. I am looking at some cookware.

Thanks for the input.

eBay is having a *lot* of glitches at present

I have just got off the phone with their stores support because of "bugs" in the relisting forms that add payment methods that I do not accept and remove PayPal button

they told me there are many problems occurring because eBay is getting ready to roll out a new look and so the old format is "buggy"

sheesh one woulda thought they had enough experience by now to do this smoothly huh

it is very possible that the missing button for you was another of the glitches mrsD

Oh, Thanks Chemar.... I went to their discussion place and
several sellers were complaining. Also someone had a beta version on the screen, and it wouldn't work...either.
So I did use IE that night. The button was there but I could not click on it... it was dead.
In the end I managed 3 items, not expensive, since no one else sniped me. This seller usually gets high, and I drop out.
I haven't done much this year, with the economy and all.
It is interesting that the bid screen on this main computer is of one type, and the laptop upstairs, has the old one on it.
I use that laptop to come here when I don't want to face the stairs in the dark. I don't know why the screens at Ebay are different with the same IP router in use (its been that way since last Sept when we returned home). Guess it is one of those computer things I'll never understand. The phantom "won" item was weird tho. Luckily I get combined shipping from this seller so I waited anyway.
