Confused Verizon vs Sprint

We've used Verizon for years but we'll need to change plans soon. Is there any reason to save a few bucks by switching to Sprint? Their plans seem to be cheaper, phones too. The coverage looks good for our area too according to their map. We'll likely need data for one phone, is it better with Sprint?

Question

I'd like to hear how others feel about their wireless plans /carriers too.
Daughter is going to be needing a new cell soon.

We use the prepaid plans but wondering about switching from Tracfone to AT&T, Verizon or Tmobile etc.

Love em/hate em??

We have Sprint because for a while it was the only one who
would reach us in the boonies.

Our contract is over and we just pay by the month for a family plan. $59

Sprint owns this new prepaid pay as you go plan:
http://www.boostmobile.com/
It is running on the Nextel system they bought a few years ago.

Right now Sprint is aggressive with offers, as it is #3 and hurting competition wise.

We've never had issues. The only thing is that the numbers I get were previously owned by deadbeats. The first one I changed. Now this one is starting to get creditors calling for the old holder! I don't know how common this is. But it is aggravating sometimes. I've called some of the voice mails back and they stopped calling finally. But others crop up from time to time still for her.

I have verizon wireless for all three phones (share afamily plan) and am very happy with it. I travel across the country and have very good coverage and call quality. I will caution you the taxes and fees add about @ 1/3 to plan's cost.

I hated Sprint because of the lack of coverage or call crops in certain parts of the counrty but this was several years ago; I am confident they have improved since then.

We have Cox for landline phone, HSI and cable. Customer service is not the greatest. Am considering Verizon's FIOS package but they have some issues here so am waiting for them to get better locally.

Frawg seems like a good wireless deal but no nobody to ask who actually uses it.
