I keep getting a popup about downloading a particular screensaver. I
haven't done it, but since the subject's come up...

What's a good (reliable) site to download a screensaver from? I don't
want to just download it from anywhere, since I don't know if the site(s)
have any viruses, spyware, etc. in them.

I downloaded webshots - from www.webshots .com
it's a program that lets you find and collect photos from their online gallery and also from the community { people that upload their own photos and collections to the site}

the program will use the photos as wallpaper and/or screensavers with settings {for a calendar on the desktop wallpaper} {and various styles and time cycles thru the photos}

i used it for years and never had any problems from it.

guess the site is down. Are there any other sites where I can find a safe
screensaver download?

I think the link that Jo posted had a space before the ".com" and that may be why it didn't work when you tried clicking it.
