Heart Thinking of you.

Much love to you Goofy. You're such an amazing woman and mother.

I lost my mum when I was 4 years old. That was 55 years ago. I miss my mum too, but I didn't ever know her really. You knew your mum so that's a real gift. Believe me.

You've had so much loss this past year or so in your family that it must make this anniversary so much more intense.

Sending lots of love to you.
Lara

p.s. I miss my Mum too.

Default Sending you love Goofy

It's hard to lose your Mom.... No matter how long it's been, you still miss them. I still think of things I want to call my mom and tell her, and it's been 8 years!

Mom's are our best friends, our cheerleaders, and our safe zones.

God Bless you, and I hope you are doing better.

Wink God bless our moms forever.

The depth & breadth of loss that struck me when my mother died was beyond any sorrow I had experienced to that point in my life, including the deaths of my husband & infant daughter.

Your example of thinking of things to call your mom about is exactly what I do....& for me it's been 21yrs! You say, "Mom's are our best friends, our cheerleaders, and our safe zones," and mine was all that. I know there were times when she may not have liked me much (I'm an alcoholic), but she always loved me; I knew that too. When she was gone, I was truly alone in this world in a way I had never dreamt of.

I wonder whether it's the same sort of thing for fathers & sons.

Thank you, girlfriends, for this thread. Warm thought to you all in our shared understanding of what we had, what we loss. A special hug for Lara.
