I'm so sorry for your loss...sudden, unexpected losses are the hardest to deal with. These forums are a great place to come for support.

i too have had a sudden lost.
my dad died when i was 16- he had leukemia-he died the week he was too come home cancer free so that kind of loss is worse than(in my opinion)thna having a long term illness where you have time to grieve.

Default Dear Mikes wife

I am so very sorry for your loss. There are no words that will take away what has happened. That kind of loss, is the most difficult to have. I wish there was a way to ease your heart. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I hope that you will come here to neruo talk, and share your grief. We will listen and try to help you. I hope God extends his healing to your heart. ginnie

I lost my husband ten years ago. It was totally unexpected. It's such a shock. The rug's been pulled out from underneath you and it's going to take some time to get past the feelings of being scared, mad, confused and scared again.

Keep coming here. There are others who have gone through similar things who can offer support and encouragement. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

You poor darling....hopefully with the love of your children and friends, you will get through this , simply because you have to. i lost my husband 2 years ago by suicide, leaving me with some pretty serious health issues. i know the pain is unimaginable, just unimaginable, but although you never forget them, the shock and pain does ease, truly it does, you won't think it now, but it does. Although it eases there will always be days which you feel will set you back. i enclose a short article on Grief for you.

Good luck!
