Help Breast Cancer has spread

My sister was fighting breast cancer a year a half ago and had both breasts removed but the tumor was in her limp nodes under her arm. The doctor told her that there was a 1 % chance it was come back. well she went through 2 rounds of Chemo and radiation as well. With all of this, she went back to the doctor just 2 weeks ago because she was turning yellow. The doctors said that her cancer has spread to her Lungs and Liver. They said that the liver was shutting down. They also told her she has 2 weeks before she will die. They told her they have nothing else to do except send her home. This really sucks. They said once she starts to not eat or drink it will be the end of her. She is only 53

I'm so sorry to hear this, for you and all of your family.

My brother in law had liver cancer and it was about that same time frame for him.
Hopefully she will be able to be comfortable and be at peace til the end.

So sorry to hear about your sister. I wish doctors would not state such time frames. So many people go home, set their timers, and wait.

Is your sister active at all; able to get out and about? Is there anything she wants to do or see or hear or smell or experience? Anything is better than twiddling thumbs till the end.

I am so so sorry for you. I went through something similar with my mother. You have such hope and one day the door slams in your face. I feel so bad for your sister and you and your family. Bless her heart and soul. you are in my thoughts and prayers. Blossom25
