Default comfort

i lost my brother when i was the grand old age of 3, my brother was 5. i can remember almost everything of the day he died, strange the things we remember from our childhood.

i have recently lost my dad but even when i was standing beside his body in the hospital the most vivid thought ran through my head, almost like a film, it was my brother, still age 5, running to give my dad a hug.

makes me cry but i also smile to see their joy at being together again.

just thought i'd share that.

tc all.

Steash...

That was beautiful!!!
Thank you for sharing...

Something inside me thinks that what you saw... was not a thought...but images of what was actually happening!!!

Hi Steash

I realy feel for you, My dad died eleven years ago, and i close my eyes and see him too.

Tears are natures way of washing out the anguish and saddness we feel. These times are hard but tomorrow is another day, the pain may still be there but you got through a sad night.

Take care of you.

On those nights it is not a tissue night, it is a towel night!
I lost Dad, Mom too a few years ago...but, so many times things happen I know they are here. Weird stuff, smell of violets overwhelms with my daughters recent passing. With Mom it was lavendar and vanilla, dad....things came out in dreams and a statue actually slid off the back of the toilet when I was on it late one night. Not wet or sweaty at all. procelin cupisd just slid about a foot and took a nose dive????

I feel peaceful when these happen, will them too...
A bid hug and share a towel anytime.
Dianne
