Heart My Prayer

My Prayer

I prayed a prayer to God today,
Because you are my friend.
I asked that He may,
Bring your problems to an end.
I prayed for all your pain,
That it would ease today,
And for you to see,
There is hope coming your way.
I prayed for a resolution,
And for all your trials to cease,
But most of all, friend of mine,
I asked for God to bring you peace...
