Default "Happy Place #1"

This is my second new work, done for the show "The Art of MS" sponsored by my MS clinic. It is watercolor on 300# Arches, 11" x 16"

Happy Place #1

"As an artist dealing with a chronic disease that carries a high pain profile, it is natural for me to measure pain levels less by the number system . . . and more by how spectacularly unbelievable my “happy places” have become. Completing this painting has inspired me to embark on a series of “happy place” images, with some painted to memorialize fantastic experiences and others to illustrate my “bucket list” of dream adventures. This painting is a combination of experience and fantasy."
