Heart Circle

Love found
On a crisp, clean, springtime eve
Many surround
Only one speaks
Days, turn into weeks
Time moves swiftly
Love returns
In the hazy summer, blistered red
My peasant skirt
And, the tye-dyed bed
Few words, pass between
The wounded souls
He tries to explain
So that she'll know
That his love for her
Has begun to grow
What she cannot say
What she cannot communicate
Is all of the things
They pierced her soul with
And, the withering winds
That ripped right through
Turned her crystal-clear
Watercolored tears
Azure, blue
The red, and, purple
Vibrant hues
Sun blaze crimson set
In the west
Over the ocean
Towards the eagle's nest
Lingering here
The place she loves best
Memories of him
Bring her home
Where all of the colors
Match the stone
Buildings that surround
Love lost
Love found...
