"You're so pretty,
if you weren't married, I'd rape you." Were the words Your friend said to me tonight You sat right there You heard them spoken And didn't offer even one word In my defense I'd waited for you- Earlier in the evening An hour and a half past the time you'd promised To pick me up I have to admit As I've done a thousand times before- That this behavior Came as no suprise So off I went Walking out the door To the place you were at Total walk: about a mile and a half It was late, it was dark, it was cold But it didn't matter There was something To be told I went there tonight To tell you off to your face to tell you to get right out of My place I'm sorry That it ended This way But you pushed me so hard That I just had to break So now things are bitter And I'll be feeling so bad That I'll give you back Everything that you Have The things I provide The things that are mine The things I want to force you To leave behind (written, 3/9/07) |
