Oh, the car is wonderful too... (is that the "Holden"? )
edit...I just clicked on it in attachments and see that it is the car!

I love it. We know a gal where we summer, who photographs old cars that have been dumped in the woods. (Up there it is a common practice--highly rural). There are flowers coming up in them and everything.

Doing the nostalgic autos, is a really good idea. It is a portrait of sorts too!

Can you remind us of the dimensions you work at? I seem to recall they are small works. Am I right?

I can see the Budgies being popular. Lots of people have them when they are children, so they hold huge nostalgia, I bet, like they do for me!

Er... sorry... wombat (not to be confused with WOMBATWaste Of Money, Brains, And Time ) Given your penchant for wildlife, and living in the region of their habitat, I thought they might be a natural subject for you (and they're really cool ).

The sizes of paintings I do, are from smallest... 5 X 7 inch & 6 X 6 inch, I do a lot of 8 X 10 inch, and 10 X 12 inch, and sometimes 12 X 16 inch...but don't really have the space to do really large ones.

That's a shame. What this world really needs are more sofa (and larger—really larger) sized wombats.

If you look through the MORE PICS link, there are a few more with the same expression/pose; I thought they were smiling.

Lightbulb

If you read the Wiki article on Wombats, they discuss how aggressive they can be, and potentially "dangerous".
