Oh, that is tough... losing all your photos! I feel for you about that!
Check out the Seagate backups ... they are coming down in price quickly. You know you can get a cheap keyboard and plug it into your laptop directly. Gotta make sure it is the right plug... old laptops took round connectors but now they are mostly USB. These are wonderful, as usual. I love it when you post new work!
