Red face My own friend...

you all are about to
find out
that I don't write so much
when I'm feeling
like myself
this abundance
of poetry
I only write
when I'm not feeling
quite
so steady
when things are
such a blur
and I have so much
to consider
I'm glad I write them though
so I have something
to show
something to help me
remember
what I was thinking
how I was feeling
when my mind was
reeling
now, I'll be comfortable
in my mind
because now it is time
for things to return
to normal for me
when I can actually see
and actually believe
what is reasonable
and what is true
and I can again see
that the sky is blue
and the grass is green
and I can once again dream
of the oceans I've seen
and, I can reminisce
about the days
before my mind became
so unpredictable
now, I have to try
and not let myself
feel embarrassed
which is a notably easier task now
than it has ever been
because, I have finally become
My own friend...

Smile Hey CG!

I'm going to miss reading your poems if you don't write as much, but given a choice, I would much rather have you feeling better! Now that you are your own friend again, maybe you could write a few poems to yourself. That would be cool.

FUGITIVE Tina ‘06
Brightly glistening icicles hung downward,
Bound to permafrosted weathered fingers,
Soon to cry themselves into deep wonder.
Still abandoned, absence grows agitations.
Blizzard flakes, his windblown regrets, weight heavy.
In a corner sitting upright he thinks !
Lost to the reasons of past winter whys.
Holiday lights failed to charm her to return.
Whistling winds went unanswered, howled so.
Finally standing, he bursts off searching blindly.
Forever time it shall be finding her!
Now gone, icy tears of wonder, fall steady,
onto her from above . She returns joyful…
And promptly vibrantly, she redecorates!

SEASON SONNET Tina ‘06
Embrace me, as the rush begins to flow,
over taking winter’s lonely emptiness.
Calling the rested flowers from their beds…
throats of masses singing passions.
Bosom heavy magnificent replenish.
Heated breath beckons with her every summons.
Silky satin, rainbows, her bows, on the ground,
She’s a master of ballets, a mover, a shaker!
Devine resplendent visions , painting earthly canvas.
Spring is building up , to burst , to over flow,
splashing majestic brilliance to behold.
Mother nature screams to every entity…
“Hold me with welcoming open arms, now
Embrace me as the rush begins to flow!”
