Default Compassion...

I'm so glad
You came to see me
That day
When I was in the middle
Of feeling that way
And, I got to tell you
All about me
So maybe you would see
The reason for the fall
Why I was there at all
And you got to know
What I have wanted
To tell you
For so long
Even though
The entire story
Was not told
You found out
How they had been
So cold
Now you know
The reason why
I was so bold
And, I know it must be hard
To always be
Everyone's hero
But that's just something
About you
That people will forever be
Drawn to
You have a way
Of speaking
That just makes so much
Sense
And your compassion
Comes through
That's why
Everyone
Wants to be near you
When they're feeling blue...
