God, please
I've asked you
A million times
I've laid on my face
And begged
And sobbed
All choked-up
Hysterically
God, please
Take this affliction
Away from me
Some days
When I'm only 1/2 the way there
I take a shower
Almost, unaware
And, just stare
At my hands
Crying, in there
Because, I don't
Want to be heard
And, I need to escape
Because, I'm not
Understood
God, please
If you won't take
This from me
And, let me live
Normally
Then, take all of me
And, let me finally be
FREE...
