Casey, your drawings are very good. I know how hard it is also to
work on art when there is alot of pain. It seems the pain siphons off energy from the mind.

Some meditation and/or auto hypnosis may help you.
When I cannot work, I do alot in my head, to keep the creativity going. That works a bit to deflect pain and despondency as well.
