Wink Some stunning watercolors:

I read over at WetCanvas forum sometimes to get inspired and also to learn about new art tools, and opinions on brands to get etc.

So I was in bed yesterday late at night and this artist's post had a new work posted. His link to his blog at the bottom grabbed my attention so I went there. My iPhone is just too small to see well...so now I am on a big screen monitor and really enjoying his work!

http://ernstg.blog.de/

The text is in German. But the reproductions of his paintings are for everyone.

There are gardens, window boxes, various other beautiful buildings, autumn trees, churches, farms, in each entry. Some just blow me away! His use of light and color are just fantastic, and just how wonderful watercolor can be. I see wet in wet, used along with dry brush in each painting, all very successfully.
He seems to favor many violets.

So I thought to share his work here. Some of the readers here may like them also. I am certainly inspired!

I found him in Google images... many works all together and easier to view:

Yes, they are really lovely paintings!
Wish I could do watercolours that good...but that is not my strong painting medium!
