I so enjoy Jake's works and his words.
Sounds strange, I know, yet I am often saddened when I think of the loss of the importance of penmanship. I have always enjoyed penmanship in general, as well as practicing calligraphy. I felt a deep loss when email became so popular... and it has taken me time to adjust. I had continued to write many personally hand-written letters for many years after email became so popular. I had my favorite pens and my favorite stationaries, all so very carefully selected and collected over the years. It was an art form, so to speak. Not hand-crafting letters anymore... it has been a huge adjustment for me. I feel like those days are gone, are behind us now. It's refreshing to see Jake's work and to hear his viewpoints on penmanship. I deeply appreciate seeing his work. Simply beautiful! DejaVu
