Default Tiny ballerina...

I had a white
Music box
With blue, and pink flowers
On it
There was a little, golden key
That, I would turn
To hear the music play
More though, I wanted to see
The tiny ballerina dance
Turning, again and again
her perfect, pirouettes
My sister, and I
Would mimic her
Untill, we fell to the ground
Dizzy, and laughing
Sometimes
I would just stand
in front of it
eyes, fixed on her
mesmerized by the music
and that tiny little dancer
I wanted so badly
to hate that music box
because of who it came from
but, I just couldn't
I remember trying
after the divorce
to mend things
with my father
he took me to ballet class
I really wanted to tell him
that, I wanted to dance
with him
but, I never did....
